Jason D. Leeds – Vice President - Development and Texas Regional Partner
Mr. Leeds manages all aspects of development and construction management for Criterion’s Texas Region. Since joining Criterion, Mr. Leeds and his team have been responsible for the development and construction management of over $150 million in luxury multifamily communities. With over 16 years of real estate experience including the development of over 4,100 apartment homes in Dallas, Austin, Atlanta and Phoenix, Mr. Leeds has also managed numerous public infrastructure projects (streets, utilities, streetscapes and private franchise utilities) totaling over $6.2 million.

Prior to joining Criterion, Mr. Leeds was founder of Leeds Development Company where he developed and marketed single-family lots and infill town homes in Dallas, totaling over $15 million in value. Previously, Mr. Leeds was the Dallas investment officer for Gables Residential responsible for over $100 million in urban development and construction in the State Thomas District. Prior to joining Gables, Mr. Leeds was a vice president with JPI Partners with responsibility for over $190 million in development of luxury apartment communities in the Austin, Phoenix and Atlanta markets.

Mr. Leeds has served as a member of the State Thomas Design Review Committee, as well as a board member of: The State Thomas TIF Board, The Uptown Public Improvement District (UPID) and The Dallas Real Estate Council Foundation. Mr. Leeds earned a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University and is married with two children.
